New to the Fox Valley dining scene in April 2006, Wildwood has established a strong reputation for quality, consistency and value -- not only making it a local Geneva favorite, but a preferred destination for west suburban Chicago diners. Wildwood is open seven days a week, featuring upscale American cuisine that includes oak-grilled steaks and chops, fresh seafood, poultry, pasta and vegetarian dishes. Niche Restaurant
Niche Restaurant was founded by Chef Jeremy Lycan and Sommelier Jody Richardson, following the closing of the acclaimed restaurant 302 West in Geneva, in April of 2006. After many years of working closely together, the staff developed a deep passion and strong belief in the values which are carried into the dining experience at Niche Restaurant that include serving only the freshest produce, seafood, meats and cheeses, some of which comes from our farms. Chalkboard Restaurant
Chef Gilbert Langlois and Elizabeth Laidlaw welcome you to their new restaurant in Lincoln Square. Opened in December 2006, Chalkboard features an ever-changing menu of carefully prepared dishes in an elegant, airy space. The daily offerings and thoughtfully chosen wines are handwritten on, what else, a chalkboard. Their young son is often on hand to greet the early diners and sample a delicious dessert or two.

Churches' Center for Land and People (CCLP) sponsors indoor Winter Farmers Markets & Meals for Hope to provide small, local farm producers with additional venues to extend their income beyond the growing season. Held in parish halls of congregations of many denominations, these markets are open to the public and from November to March offer consumers an opportunity to purchase a variety of local products. Seed Savers Exchange
Seed Savers Exchange is a non-profit seed organization that saves and shares the heirloom seeds of our garden heritage, forming a living legacy that can be passed down through generations. Seed Savers is located in Decorah, Iowa on an 890 acres living museum of historic varieties. Each summer, 10% of each crop is planted on a 10 year rotation to renew the seed collection.
