Seasonal Store Manager
Seasonal, full-time position available from April to December. Flexible weekday hours and most weekend hours. 40-50 hours per week.
Tasks/Expectations:
Ordering and stocking store merchandise
Building relationships with regular farm customers
Create store displays and handle overall store maintenance
Balance cash register and keep track of department earnings
Assist with weekly CSA pick-ups
Requirements:
Knowledge and passion for honey and local food
High school diploma or equivalent
Retail experience and self-starter

Bee Farm Assistant
Seasonal, full-time position.
Tasks/Expectations:
On farm construction and maintenance
Bee yard work
Processing honey
General farming responsibilities
Requirements:
Must be familiar with maintenance and carpentry
Not allergic to bee stings

Events Staff- Servers and Dishwashers
Seasonal Event Staff for 30+ weddings and farm dinners from April to October.
Tasks/Expectations
Arrange and set tables
May help prepare food
Pass appetizers

Clear glasses & dishes
Put away dishes
Requirements:
Responsible, self-motivated, detail-oriented and dependable!

Special Events Intern
Heritage Prairie Farm is looking for a summer special events intern (May to August) to assist with farm dinners, private events and eco-chic weddings. This is a fast-paced position that will give you great experience and insight into the event planning industry.
Tasks /Expectations:
Assist in planning and preparing for events
Help promote events through social media, and create & distribute marketing material
Work events doing tasks such as serving guests, chopping farm produce, setting up tables, or cutting and arranging farm flowers for centerpieces
Creating new ideas and activities for kids’ field trip events
Grow social media networks- i.e. YouTube, Twitter
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, or pursuing a college degree
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge or experience in events, public relations or communications
Self-motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented
Graphic Design skills and experience a plus
