New Store Hours!
In some ways, late winter is our busiest time of the year. As you may know, we’re expanding both our farming and our beekeeping operations! Seeds ordered, planting schedules finalized, events planned—all of us with our heads buried in seed catalogs and calenders trying very hard not to look at the outside thermometer!  By Valentines Day, we’re beginning our spring planting and bee hive building. As a result of the demands on our staff, we’re reducing store hours. We’ll be open Friday through Sunday until March 22 (the first day of spring!) Of course, if any of our customers have a specific need during the week, just come to the farm house and one of us will be happy to help you.

Open Friday and Saturday- 9AM to 5PM, Sunday- 10AM to 5 PM
Closed Monday thru Thursday

Heritage Prairie Farm CSA program for the 2010 season:
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a wonderful connection between the farm and the consumer. Few people know where their food comes from, even fewer can go to the farm where it is grown and talk to the farmers growing it. It is "food with our farmer's face on it."

Community Supported Agriculture is a mutually beneficial relatoinship between the community and the farm. The people buy subscriptions in the winter, which helps to pay for seeds, labor, and equipment. In return the farm provides a box of fresh vegetables for 25 weeks throughout the growing season. The CSA program also offers opportunities to volunteer on the farm and to learn more about how food is grown.
